Open-source services, hosted by Mabeney
doas.cloud is a home for open-source internet services, hosted and operated by Mabeney.
We believe in an open and decentralized internet. Unfortunately, lately everything seems to depend on a few select hyperscale hosters, whose services either randomly fail or could ultimately enshittify their services due to their effective lock-in effect attained over the years. Due to recent developments, digital sovereignty becomes a more and more valued good each day. To aid with restoring the decentralized and therefore highly resilient nature of the internet, we host some services listed below with the goal of “Don't be evil”.
Services we host
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Grafana | Public monitoring for the doas.cloud infrastructure. |
| Mirrors | Debian, Arch Linux (with AUR), Ubuntu, Fedora, Alpine and NixOS package mirrors. |
More services will be added over time.
